First 5 years: 21 days' basic pay per year. After 5 years: 30 days' pay per year. Maximum cap: 2 years of total wages.
Tax & Exemptions
Gratuity is not subject to income tax in the UAE. Cannot be denied except in cases of gross misconduct under Article 44.
